Oscar López-Rivera was one of the leaders and founders of strip Puerto Rico national nationalist terrorist group known as the FALN (National Liberation Army). In a controversial move in August 1999, Bill Clinton offered clemency to 12 members of that group (including López), along with four other members of your group closely ally of the Macheteros (machete-aplicadores), which were mainly based on the island nation.
